All religions have messages of peace and love yet all religions are used for wars and hatred...

So let me see if I understand this, the author of the video is suggesting that the only reason people have become successful in show business, or at least most people, is because they are devil worshipers? I suppose hard work has nothing to do with it. I would guess that they find themselves working even harder than they ever thought they would in order to keep the devil pleased. Any actual proof that they sold their souls?

Hope everything is OK with you.

Wouldn't I first have to prove the existence of the soul? Come on, jonesy1. That's a tall order there. Do a visual search using the keywords celebrity + satanic + hand + gestures. It has been said that by making these gestures in public they affirm loyalty to their master, and that makes sense, don't you think? My loyalty is to someone else, and I have no need of any secret hand signals. I have no problem acknowledging that CHRIST IS THE SAVIOR. I will shout it out to the world, and if it costs me, then it costs me.

Re Destinys Child...yea. I was a teen when they emerged and trust me, everyone knew Beyoncé was the one from that group. She was center stage and by far the most popular. In the same way that Timberlake stood out with *NSYNC.

Can you prove the existence of the soul? No. Can you prove the non existence of the soul? No, I can't. So why did you ask me if I could prove that they actually sold something that can't be proven to exist? I heard once about a guy who sold his soul on eBay. I think someone bought it for $22,000, but how can anyone prove that a soul was sold if the soul can't be objectively proven to exist? And, knowing as you certainly must have known that it can't be objectively proven, why then did you ask the loaded question that you did?

I'm asking because by posting the video you posted you seem to be saying that that is exactly what they have done.

Yes I believe the soul exists, no I don't believe it's transferable. These kind of Faustian tales have been around for centuries, one of the most well known being that of Robert Johnson, and it's just nonsense.

And I also think that Robert Johnson may have very well sold his soul. I believe the soul can be contracted like any good or service. There was a movie I saw only once in the 1990's called "Shock 'em Dead" which is not as well-known as I thought it should be. I did a thread about it on the old board. It is based on the Faust tale. Good film.

Aj's mention of The Devil and Daniel Webster reminded me of this funky 1970's version of the tale. Enjoy. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Hopefully the buyer received some sort of "Certificate of Authenticity", like you get with some of those limited-edition, collectible plates.
