Enjoy. Like George Clooney's character in "O Brother Where Art Thou," for most of my life I was pretty noncommittal with mine. This might explain why some of the most talented entertainers go largely unnoticed while some of the most mediocre become household names. Anyone remember a female vocal group called Destiny's Child? Did anyone foresee that one of them was going to rise above the others and be a superstar? I certainly didn't.

It's a metaphor for selling out or giving up one's principles in exchange for success.

What does that mean?
About 2.35 piasters in downtown Cairo.
(check the monetary exchange rate-----it makes it more comical)

Just watch Sean Spicer, Kellyanne Conway, or a host of other Trumphumpers and you'll understand.

If you're going for "suspicious success stories", then Destiny's Child is an odd pick. Knowles was the only remaining original member (the other were replaced and were little known outside their time in the group) and the group itself was managed by a member of Knowle's own family. Not terribly surprising the one member who stuck it out and received preference in vocals became the breakout star. As to talent... ![](http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e41/imdbv2/imdbsmileys/laugh.gif) the big label music industry ceased being about talent somewhere in the 70s. It's been about marketability for years. Listen to any recording of Spears before her pitch was digitally fixed. No talent there. It wasn't her voice or talent that sold records.

You will especially like Walter Huston.

So let me see if I understand this, the author of the video is suggesting that the only reason people have become successful in show business, or at least most people, is because they are devil worshipers? I suppose hard work has nothing to do with it.

I suppose hard work has nothing to do with it. I would guess that they find themselves working even harder than they ever thought they would in order to keep the devil pleased.

Make sure you sell it for a good price.
I sold mine to win an award on the IMDB message board so I feel like I knocked it out of the park.
