Model Railroading in case you didn't know is a more adult oriented hobby which involves Electric "Toy" Trains as many might say... Usually Model Railroaders build scale layouts for their trains which feature scenery & towns... and quite often with other types of transportation such as Airplanes and Automobiles... There are also several different size scales as well... N scale is a small one at 1:160 O scale is a larger one at 1:48 But a very common and popular one is "H. O." or just HO. It's a nice in between scale at 1:87. Some Model Railroaders are also Transformers (Toy) fans... And one character that is probably quite popular with Model Railroaders is probably AstroTrain... AstroTrain was a Decepticon Triple Changer, that Transformed from a Robot, to a Space Shuttle, and Then into a Steam Locomotive... Well, long story short... ( Yeah, Too Late. LOL!) This YouTuber is a Model Railroader & and a Transformers Fan... and decided that he wanted a real working AstroTrain (in Steam Locomotive Mode) for his HO scale layout... And so he built one - And included a proper a Coal Tender to go with it. (Which G1 AstroTrain did not have, but should have, since real steam Locomotives have to have one in order to function.) Check out his AstroTrain creation here: And AstroTrain in action here: Sadly he doesn't have a scenic layout here to show off his newest creation... But... Did you see the custom made HO scale Stunticons & Autobots waiting at the crossing for AstroTrain to pass so they could engage in a battle with each other?

The YouTuber was quite happy to learn, that the recent Transformers WFC Earthrise Toyline, which featured the F-15 Seekers Characters, are nearly perfect in scale for fitting right in with his HO Scale Model Railroading hobby:
Yes, the video starts right in the middle, to get right to that happy discovery... but if you like Transformers, you should see his whole review on the recently released Seekers...

When I was little, we used to take the Southern Pacific "Shasta Daylight," to Salem, OR., to visit my grandparents. We would take an early morning ferry to Oakland, and the train departed around 8 AM. I loved it. One day, out of curiosity, I checked YouTube for anything that might recall the Daylight. There are a number of offerings, including several that are of models of the train, and the terrain it covered. Here's the one that got me started: www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2Vbtg390nA
