out of all Lou Reed albums? I think that it is. Even though the music on it is sort of lame. This album has the best lyrics compared to any of his other solo albums.
I would say that , that's just my opinion though.

To be fair, music lyrics are poetry, but I think I get your point. Seems like a good solution if you hate the music but like the lyrics. If it's the just the lyrics you like, but also how they're delivered (ie, sung), then perhaps you don't hate the music after all... When he was in Van Halen, David Lee Roth once said, "Rock and roll ain't poetry! That's why you'll never see the lyrics on the back of my albums." Guess what was on his solo albums.  |

Correct me if I am wrong but, when he was in van halen he had no albums yet. Well, I mean we all know that.
But I'm saying, I think I heard the exact quote of his. And he said something like, 'rock lyrics aint poetry which is why no one reads the lyrics from a van halen album.'
But, I could be wrong. Possibly.
