In 2024 we'll have that live-action remake version with Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, but before we get that, we can celebrate the original animated classic. All of the versions released since this movie seem to not hold a candle to the original version. Leonard Maltin Movie Guide Review: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) - 4 out of 4 stars"Walt Disney's groundbreaking animated feature film--the first of its kind--is still in a class by itself, a warm and joyful rendition of classic fairy tale, enhanced by the vivid personalities of the seven dwarfs. Only a real-life Grumpy could fail to love it. Songs include "Whistle While You Work," "Heigh Ho," and "Some Day My Prince Will Come."

It will age better than the upcoming remake will.

Even the gremlins loved it.

Disney's milestone.
Other features from the studio quickly eclipsed the quality of animation, but Snow White remains an engaging, emotional ride (even if you are over 60, just let yourself go). Whistle While You Work became an instant classic and I have no doubt little girls of the period hummed Some Day My Prince Will Come while they played away the day.
One of the many brilliant Disney ideas was to include a few scenes of horror in his movies, Monstro bearing down on Pinocchio and the Pleasure Island Sequence, the death of Bambi's mother and in Snow White the transformation of the Queen into the Witch (scared the jujubes out of me!) and the dwarfs pursuing her through the storm.
According to the Documentary on the DVD, members of the audience that saw the Grand Opening actually cried with the animated dwarfs at the bier of Snow White.

I love how they're remaking it, but it's too offensive now to even use the Seven Dwarfs. And not even because there was an outcry or anything, but simply because one idiot announced he was offended by it.

A classic. Likely the best of the really old school princess films from Disney (the other two being Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty).

Plus there's the other remake they did with Julia Roberts called 'MIRROR MIRROR'.

Yep, I'd always thought it was Cinderella until I re-watched a couple years ago... other than the Fairy Godmother sequence, it's not nearly as visually/sensory compelling as Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs.

I find Cinderella to be underappreciated. I find the title protagonist to be stronger than Snow White and Aurora, but Snow White does have the better story and characters overall.

It's the first movie I ever watched in the cinema. Not in 1937, mind you.
