THE FIRM is convoluted (even for a legal thriller), overlong and boring. Tom Cruise and Jeanne Tripplehorn's performances are good, but Gene Hackman does nothing memorable. Anyone could’ve played his role. The music score is very creative, but some scenes were not well-directed at all. Especially the last one Gary Busey appears in. 3/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog (in English, in Spanish or in Italian).

I only rewatch the chase scene with Quaker Oats and Jigsaw.

3 is pretty tough. I've always liked it. 7/10 Hey, time for a rewatch.

I liked this film, and have watched it quite a few times.
Great cast, and great performances by all.
Thought Gary Busey scenes and David Strathairn scenes were great.
Nice to see Hackman cast in a different type role.
Movie was 1/2 hour to long for my lower back in a theater seat, after which I had to adapt my life to my back situation.
Also a big Ed Harris fan.
8/10

6/10. It’s better than The Pelican Brief.
