There is another weird twist in an already weird ... and tragic ... story.
Evidently, the suspect just received his Master's Degree in Criminology, at a school in Pennsylvania. And, he was pursuing his Ph.D., at Washington State University, which is in Pullman WA., only about 10 miles from Moscow.
I don't know how long he's been on the authorities' "radar," but, his knowledge of communications among policing agency may be one reason that they were so tight-lipped about any details. Possibly, they didn't want him to know that they were on to him.

I keep thinking about the families, and close friends, of those 4 vibrant students. They've already endured weeks of grief, and frustration at there being no answers.
Now, there's an answer ... and/or the beginning of more questions. It has to be overwhelming. I'm keeping them in my thoughts.

The news is reporting the police have DNA from a knife sheath left at the scene.
And GPS saying he's been at that location of the murders multiple times. And he turned his phone off the night of the murders at his home in Washington state. And turned it back on hours later around the murder house.
Surviving witness says she saw him leave. Described him as tall, and athletically built, with bushy eyebrows.
