Plain odd, eh. Unless this phone is missing something, it doesn't say how they found out his body is not there?

Maybe Man Utd are going to try to revive him, seeing they're not getting Greizmann now.

Bizarre. I read his biography years ago. Very interesting and very sad. Alcohol really destroyed him. Conventional wisdom in Brazil says that he was screwed over by his club, by his friends, by the football establishment and that nobody helped him after he stopped playing, but the reality was that he received plenty of support in the form of donations, benefit games and such, and drank it all. At one point he was given a job with a very good salary at the state company in charge of promoting coffee exports where he didn't have to do anything other than make an appearance now and then - and he couldn't even do that.

He obviously ghosted his way past the Hounds of Hell and spirited his way into Paradise...where he belongs.

He's still more mobile than ... (insert name of lumbering ox of a player here). Andy Carroll? What makes the mayor think that his remains would be dug up and put in another tomb? Talking of exhuming bodies... did you know... when Oliver Cromwell died he was buried at Westminster Abbey (he's the guy who won the English Civil War and beheaded King Charles I), his son who took over the reigns as Lord Protector was then ousted from power by the army, and the monarchy was reborn, leaving King Charles II free to come out of exile to take over. The first thing Charles II did was exhume Cromwell's body, and put his head on a 20ft Spike above Westminster for a 'posthumous execution'. Different times I guess! Cromwell's head was then passed around from collector to collector and museum to museum all the way up till 1960, where his skull was finally buried (again). Well... thought I'd get in a topical 'did you know'. Suppose we can only hope that King Charles III will be as entertaining, although he did murder Diana, so there is that.

Yeah, I did sort of know that about Cromwell.
Charlie Chaplin's body was exhumed and held for ransom in Switzerland.

Yeah, I did sort of know that about Cromwell. Charlie Chaplin's body was exhumed and held for ransom in Switzerland. I did not know that, did his family pay up? And did no one tell the kidnappers that the conventional way is to hold a live body for ransom, I think I'd just tell them 'nah, not paying, what you gonna do, kill him?'.

A little ps on Oliver Cromwell.
His is one of 2 statues outside Palace of Westminster (Parliament)
The other is of King Richard I (The Lionheart), allegedly the most admired English King, in spite of the fact that he couldn't speak English, never lived in the country for more than 3 months and once tried to sell London (to finance his Crusade)
Which all goes to explain.....
