I'm regretting never having gone. He died 2016. A comment that I agree with on youtube was he should have been give a noble prize for literature. You may not agree, but hard to disagree with he was a great poet.
I'm going through a bit of a Cohen obsession right now because he was my best friends favorite singer. She past away too; listening to his music brings me close to her again. It's one of those 'one day we should' that I regret because it's too late, they're both gone.

Agreed - he is/was a Canadian icon.
Back in the first days of the John Labatt Centre (now Budweiser Gardens) in London, Ontario, Canada (around the mid 2000s), it was announced that he would be in concert. I was considering going - just to say I saw him in concert.
Tickets for the concert started at $90.
I wanted to see him, but not THAT badly.
Now that he has passed, I do regret not going....but only just a little.

Saw him twice.
My sister-in-law dragged me to see him in 2009, and it turned out to be the 'Live in London' concert, and was wowed! The arrangements were staggering.
I then went in 2014 with two friends, who are huge music buffs, but not Cohen fans, they proceeded to get very drunk, and one of them face planted himself, so we had to leave during the intermission.
That 2009 concert, though, probably makes it into my top 5.
