the true story of the Uruguayan rugby team that crash landed in the Andes Mountains in 1972 and had to resort to cannibalism to stay alive. The film does a good job capturing the horror of the event with a terrifying plane crash scene and really showing the harsh conditions of the area they are stuck in but the film also suffers from some poor acting and dialogue. A new version of this story wouldn't be a bad idea.
