Anyway, the Eagles win it 38-7, total domination by Philly on both sides of the ball, their offense moved it with ease and their defense completely shut down the Giants. Giants had an impressive season but they still have some holes to fix and improve for next year - I think Daboll has turned them in the right direction though.

I don't see why they'd think they could have gotten a quick stop. They got their first stop all day pretty much on the previous drive, and it's already the 4th quarter at that point. You're already in desperation mode. They were never getting those 6 yards though and Daboll knew it. They weren't, but they weren't gonna get a stop aftervthe punt either. It was desperation time.

Pretty good games today. I am starting to dislike Mahomes to some extent. I suppose the word "jackass" comes to mind. I hope they lose their next game whoever it may be.
I thought the Eagles would win this one without too many problems but wow, I didn't expect their O-line to dominate the game like this. Good lord, that was a beat-down. However, it looks like the Giants have a pretty bright future ahead. The Eagles have landed though. They just make it look too easy when they beat teams.

Giants have some foundation to build on now. They should be more entertaining in the regular season going forward.
Assuming some dumb ass doesn't start strip mining the good stuff they have.

It won't take anything like that. You guys mob hated Rodgers long before that. All itll take is a media cycle focusing too much on somebody you get sick of it. Or somebody being too cocky for your liking that they come off as an douche. Or they don't get these precious QB wins that creates an overrated narrative. The seeds are all there for the three I suggested. Its gonna happen guaranteed. I would have suggested Kyler but to fill the Rodgers void they have to be good consistently. Those QBs won't get hate like Rodgers does because they don't do what Rodgers does - namely, puts all the attention on himself with these regular interviews he does with Pat McAfee where he routinely says stupid shit. The Manning brothers, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, these guys didn't get "mob hate" - ask yourself why. Of course all QBs are going to get a certain amount of hate from direct team rivals and their fans but can you picture those QBs I mentioned (or even the current guys you mentioned) screaming "I own you!" to a rival crowd? Lying about being vaccinated and then doubling down on themselves as the target of "cancel culture" and "witch hunts"? Talking up how they could be MVP again? Publicly saying they need to get a certain team at home in the playoffs one of these years only to lay an egg as soon as that scenario unfolds? Describing themselves as "reigning MVP" while their team has a losing record? Other QBs aren't drawing this amount of attention to themselves by saying completely unnecessary stuff all the time. On the MVP thing specifically that prompted this discussion, you say he was just answering a question about his future individual performance but can you really see the QBs you're suggesting for future "mob hate" as answering a question like that? Mahomes? Burrow? Herbert? In what universe are those guys telling Pat McAfee they could be MVP? You're acting like any QB who gets media attention will inevitably be hated by everyone but it's Rodgers' attitude that brings hate - an attitude that other QBs don't display. He brings it on himself. God damn, just typed out a whole rant that I had to delete because it went too off topic. Im not touching the immunized shit. That all was bad and nobody is going to try and predict another pandemic happening. However to act like somebody wont do something stupid is ignorant. Will it be one of the players I mentioned? We dont know. Could I see one of those players answer a question on McAfee by harmlessly saying they could win an MVP? Absolutely. Again, a comment that got way over blown which I already posted about. Was out of context entirely. There is nothing wrong with a guy holding themselves to a high performance and an MVP award could be used as an example because if you're winning an MVP it means two things. They're playing well and the team is winning. It ultimately was a nothing throw away of a comment. If Burrow was asked by Pat "hey what are your goals next year?" I could easily see him say something like "winning the MVP and the Super Bowl." The goal is always the Super Bowl which Rodgers even said himself. The MVP line is just an odd thing to focus on in regards to criticism. What I'm saying is. That Rodgers is the villain in the NFL atm, most hated guy despite Dashaun Watson being around and not getting nearly the hate (probably because nobody wants to acknowledge him). When Rodgers retires a void will need to be filled. It is inevitable. It will happen. There will be a player that fills this void because that hate energy will need to be focused elsewhere. Will it be to the same extent? Dont know. None of us do. But there will be another. There will be another player that pleases the group to watch fail. Could be anybody I just gave out my 3 top candidates.

On Jalen Hurts:
Damn, where is Frogs? Michael Jordan reincarnated - a truly generational talent right there in Philly. Who'd have known?

I don't think it's much of a decision even if the Niners lose today, frankly. They know what Purdy can do, they've seen ample evidence of his ability to operate the offense at this level. They know a lot about what Lance can do in practice, but not a whole lot about what he can do on an NFL field. I don't see why Purdy gets a short rope of one bad game. If he wasn't a seventh-round pick it wouldn't even be a question whether he's the guy going forward.

In this case he will be their new Brady/Montana. Drew Bledsoe was the 1th overall pick and the established franchise QB. Not to mention the Trubiskies of the league. Success > draft order. So it doesn't matter what kind of pick Trey Lance was. Even if Purdy loses in the next game, I would rather give him a shot, than this other guy who has proven nothing so far: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trey_Lance#NFL_career_statistics

You're obviously not going to agree, you're a Packers fan and Rodgers fan and that's fine. For sure, there's always going to be a most hated NFL QB by default. I just don't think the criticism Rodgers gets is particularly unfair, that's all. Watson should absolutely be more hated league-wide - good point.

Hasselback trying to make the case that Mahomes would be better off playing Buffalo in the dome in Atlanta due to weather and pushing off the turf than home against the Bengals.

Allen has to put last week behind him. Bills defense has to knock Burrow on his ass frequently And the Bills defense has to stop the run. Joe Mixon can't have a big game
