That sucks. He replaced Zeke as the Cowboys RB1 due to his explosive play. Hopefully this injury doesn't effect his abilities too much. He had a great season. Game was pretty much over when he got injured...

I'm still in shock Oddest thing about that game is Bills only putting up 10 points. Is the Bengals D really that good or does Josh Allen struggle in snowy weather?

I'm still in shock Oddest thing about that game is Bills only putting up 10 points. Is the Bengals D really that good or does Josh Allen struggle in snowy weather? The Bengals got after Allen and the Bills had no run game to speak of. Bills had disappointing performances from both the DL and the OL. Cincy also knew that if they took away or limited Diggs, the Bills didn't have much of a counter with other receivers.

It's a real testament to his abilities to put up the kind of numbers he does with average receivers and not much of a running game. Unless Josh is the one running, I don't consider Singleteary a big threat. But still... they won 14 games (including playoffs). They averaged 28 ppg this season. I'm sure most wagers were on the over which was set at around 49.5 by most sports books. Although, that weather most likely changed a lot of the bets. Very unexpected result for this game. But this happens in bad weather games. So, not too surprising but still... all they can get is 10 points?? Wow. Plus, they put up 34 last week against a team that blitzes the QB on a regular basis. I think he got sacked like 8 times last week and still put up big numbers. But that's football... u can look great one week and terrible the next.

Bills ran 19 times, longest run was 8 yards. Oddly, only 2 sacks in the game for 5 total yards. Burrow was hit 3 times total. 15 of 42 Allen's throws were off target. Diggs 10 targets 4 catches. 30 Bengals 1st downs to 18 for the Bills Bills penalized 9 times for 60 yards, Bengals 2/9. Bills 4/12 on 3rd down, though 2/3 on 4th. TOP 34 Bengals, 26 Bills

I'm still in shock Oddest thing about that game is Bills only putting up 10 points. Is the Bengals D really that good or does Josh Allen struggle in snowy weather? I've listened to a lot of stuff about the loss. Some of it pure shit, fire McDermott, trade Allen (yeah, another 17 year playoff less run). One big one was the footing, that the Bills had the wrong cleats. But I can't believe that someone didn't want to change the cleats or the shoes. Simple thing to do. Cincinnati had the perfect game plan, quick passes to keep Burrow on his feet and minimize the shady offensive line. The Bills never adjusted and they never adjusted their offense. They should have went to Cole Beasley and Dawson Knox more, the quick passes that the Bengals were using. And more designed runs for Allen. The whole team was listless after that first Cincy drive. Even the crowd was listless. And, like I said, the Damar situation deflated the team. They struggled in the last regular season game against NE, the Dolphins game was a CF and, well, we all seen Sunday. I thought it would be a rallying cry "Win one for Damar" like "win one for the Gipper"
It's going to be a crummy offseason. The salary cap is hurting now, with the big contracts for Allen (he's 1/7 of the total salary), Diggs, Von Miller. Big FA's, Devin Singletary (he gone), Roger Saffold and the big ones, Jordan Poyer and Tremaine Edwards. Poyer has been so good for the Bills but he's had injuries all year. Liken him to a car that's starting to nickle and dime you, time to get rid of it. I'd love to see Tremaime stay but he going to get at least $17,000,000 per (that's if they slap the franchise tag on him). They have to get a running game. Can James Cook be what Singletary never could, a back team have to worry about? They need help in the secondary especially of Poyer leaves. Seen some rumors that they might be looking at Jalen Ramsey, who wants out of LA. Offensive line needs work. And they have to see what's up with Stefon Diggs. He was throwing tantrums and almost left early. It's nice to see someone was upset about that shitshow yesterday. But it this the return of Minnesota Diggs, always squeaking at his QB.
Going to be a long offseason

I'm not sure that he needs more targets, they just need to get away from the "Mad Bomber", Sportscenter highlight reel. I'd love to see Cole Beasley come back. And maybe make Stefon Diggs more of a slot receiver and just use Gabe Davis as a long threat.
And they did win 14 games. With a tough schedule (all but five opponents were playoff teams last season of this season). Add to that having to play a game in Detroit and the Damar situation. And losing a great OC in Brian Dabroll.

It does seem like the team feeds off those big runs by Allen. I think it fires up the team and it seems really hard to stop the Bills when they use everything, pass, Allen runs, long passes, and Singletary getting his at various times.
No telling what they might do but I would keep McDermott as the head coach but if they don't make it to the SB next year, I might consider a new HC.
And yeah, Diggs can be an issue but WRs are known for barking at QBs and coaches. I think they should keep him. But hopefully he won't get too out of control.
Good luck this off-season.

Pitiful that their longest run was 8 yards.
And I can't believe they got 30 first downs, I saw that stat yesterday. Crazy stat in that kind of weather. That's almost like a two game total.

Yes.. Make Belichick A Genius Again.
Jokes aside, it would be interesting to see if Bill B. could make a legit SB run with Allen.

No, just a couple brain dead Bills fans who overreact after every bad loss. Shit like this came up during the SB run. "Get rid of Jim Kelly. He sucks."

The Bills will be one of the top 3 teams in the AFC for years to come. There's just very stiff competition at the top of the conference.

It'll be interesting to see if the Jags continue their upward trajectory, too. The next generation of good-to-great QBs is definitely taking over. The Chiefs, Bills, Bengals, Chargers and Jags should be going to the playoffs every year with even half-decent coaching. I would've included Lamar and maybe even Tua, but with their injury history, it's tough to pencil them in year in and year out.
