So, basically here's where we are at right now... as far as whether another sw film is in the works.
At this point we basically have nothing to suggest that another star wars film is even going to happen. It's been 4 years since the last one.
Between 2015 and the rise of skywalker, there has been a new sw film every year. It took them four years to release another sw film every year. But now it's been four years since the last sw film.
So, it's almost mathematical that they are at a creative dead end.

I saw there's going to be one that's like 15yrs post ROS, where Rey is training younglings. Then there's another pair, but I don't remember what they were supposed to be about.

Okay, as much as I love THE MANDALORIAN (seriously, he is now one of my favourite SW characters, with Lando, Qui-gon, Galen Marek, and Han) and as much as I'm giddy for Rey to come back --- I think the "Early ages of the Jedi" has me the most excited!!!! Wonder if they'll be back far enough that lightsabers still had a tube between them and the battery pack that was like on the Jedi's back, or when Jedi wasn't really a thing yet it was just becoming a thing? |
