How much does that bother you, if at all?
And the reason why I ask this question. Is that there's a possibility that another film won't get made.
And if one is not made. That means we can't watch it. Because it would have to get made first, before anyone can see it.
Also, I'm not sure of the possibility of another sw film. In other words I'm not sure... it seems like a small chance that another one won't get made.

I wouldn’t care because SW is pretty much dead to me. I hoped that the prequel trilogy would take the goofiness out of SW. It didn’t. The sequel trilogy was just a mess, irredeemable after Rian’s effort.
The Mandalorian is passable but not excellent and Boba Fett and Obi-Wan are horrible.

I would say, in my opinion... Yes they bought this ip so they can release more films. But they also don't want to release a new sw film if the idea for it sucks.
Especially after the rise of skywalker came out and the negative reaction to that film. In other words, the idea for that film sucked.
It's very unlikely to me, that they can think of an idea that doesn't suck. I'll say it now, the chances for another sw film are more unlikely than likely at least in my opinion.

Why is a certain segment of the fanbase so hell-bent on pushing this narrative? It never fails. You see an article about the franchise on FB and some goober comes running in and starts ranting about TROS (regardless of what the story is about). Do you people forget that TLJ, TPM, and AOTC exist? Those are the movies least popular with fans.
Now, you're right in one sense. They're being very intentional and careful. Most of the movies in the last two trilogies have a mixed reception. Only TFA is virtually universally liked. They want to avoid that happening again. But you're nuts if you think there's never going to be another movie.
