doubt many British bands do, it's an American backslapping thing. More important for their record labels than the bands, wouldn't surprise me if the labels have to pay to have their names considered. About the least Rock 'N' roll thing in music, the hall of fame, ironically.

Listened to Thick as a Brick for the first time a week ago. Absolute masterpiece. I know they have a lot of great material but they deserve to be in the R&R HOF for that alone.
