There's been rumors of it for decades. "Richard Donner says Lethal Weapon Five script is complete" and other similar stuff was posted on trash sites for years. It's picked up steam again for the last several months, but I still don't see much on reliable sites. Anyone see a good source?
Somewhat off-topic, if you haven't seen Fatman, do it. I watched it shortly after I saw Deadly Night and was shocked how well-made it was. It's excellent.

Glover can barely function Gibson can barely not look like wanting to kill people yet Lethal Weapon 5 is a must have and needs to be made according to idiots.

I'm guessing Gibson and Glover will play mentor roles while the Riggs baby and Murtaugh grandchild from the fourth movie will grow up and become cops together.

I know it was supposed to be an HBO Max original. However, the new ownership is trying to scale back original streaming movies. I could see it working in theaters, so maybe they’ll transition it to a theatrical release.

I'm guessing Gibson and Glover will play mentor roles while the Riggs baby and Murtaugh grandchild from the fourth movie will grow up and become cops together. Obviously, yeah. Agreed. They were hinting at that in the last one when Riggs couldn't beat Jet Li one-on-one. I thought it was a little soon for that, but I digress. Yeah, this is going to be about passing the torch. I wonder if Rene Russo and all the Murtaugh family will come back? |

If it can recreate in essence the top stuff first two movies......mucho grando.....but if 'they 'are throwing in the desperately unfunny shtick Joe Pesci got given.....and that bloody annoying cu#t poncing about with a sax in the background to nearly every unfunny scene.......then I will be avoiding as if it was a trump rally with kanye .
