h.
Everyone thought that X-Men: First Class wouldn’t be a hit because the main X-stars weren’t there but it succeeded. Audiences love a super-powered team.
The Avengers are still around and have a very credible team. Avengers 5 should have been made by now. That would have made a billion.

X-Men First Class wasn't a big hit, it made some of the least money out of all the X-Movies.

They dont have a credible teams thats the problem. They've made their top Avengers, namely Dr Strange and Thor into pussys in their own solo movies.

Shang-Chi, MCU Spider-Man, and even Shuri. Also, I think you’ve kind of missed the point of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ and ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’. Those films had problems, for sure, but that specific aspect wasn’t one of them.

Dr Strange didn't defeat Dormammu in the first movie either in a fight, and Thor didn't beat Hela or Malekith on his own in his 2nd and 3rd movies.
And I remember the X-Men not being able to beat Stryker or Dark Phoenix or the Sentinels on their own.

Thank you for pointing those out. I almost forgot that aspect.

They could’ve done an Avengers movie with one Kang where they barely defeat him, then tease a whole army of Kangs on the way. That would’ve really hyped up the fans. He’s actually not that much of a threat if Ant Man already beat one of him.

Yeah I just realized like 20 minutes ago that Phase Four is already over.
Also 7 movies and 8 TV shows in exactly a two year time span is crazy, especially without any of it leading to anything at the end of the phase.

Well, one thing to remember is that, as far as my understanding goes, Kang is probably a regular human being with some weapons, so your idea might’ve made him look more like Thanos 2.0.
