I suppose this is another of those "we cannot reproduce the errors" problems (HiYa Admin ) BUT I saw it mentioned by at least one other poster a while ago. Well, it's back and often enough to inquire about. The top half of the screen will break up into what can only be described as a pattern of horizontal zigzags . If you ignore it and scroll down, the rest of the screen is ok and readable. Then the top clears and all is well. This is the only site where it happens. Wondering if anyone else is having this happen at this time ?

No one can reply because they are all busy dealing with the blue bear now that last week's "un-reproducible problem" has spread.
's ok. I can wait. I've had practice waiting for the screens to load and then de-zig themselves.

I suspect it's a problem on your end.
Screenshot?

I suspect it's a problem on your end. Screenshot ? Should snipping tool work for the screenshot?? It was an occasional thing but it's happened more this week while all the BlackandBlue Bear's have been happening. It was posted about before by others so I don't really think it's only here.

Snipping tool should work, yes.
Going only by what you've said so far, I'm leaning towards a graphics card or driver issue.

Actually, I was hoping to see whether anyone else had had the problem recently. It's somehow reassuring to know that it's "not just you".
Shall try to catch the little devil in the act and then figure out how to post the image.
I know you have better things to be doing what with that bear on the loose and all. Do appreciate your giving us this site. It really IS such an improvement over v1. .

Could it have anything at all to do with moving avatars ? It only seems to happen on a page with a moving (usually a rapping) avatar.
I have a slow connection and this is still the only location where this happens.

bartlesby EDGE It has never happened with your moving avatar or the one you used to have. It likely has nothing to do with the gif avatars. Do you use AdBlock? Or more specifically, do you have ads at the top of your page?

bartlesby Just something about Forums.net at top and bottom of screen I get ads elsewhere so probably no adblock. Hmm. My guess is still a video acceleration problem. I'd try disabling GPU acceleration first. If you're using Windows 10, type "internet options" in the search bar or open the Control Panel and find it there. In the window that opens, select the tab "Advanced". There will be an option listed under "Accelerated Graphics" that says "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering". Check the box next to it. It might need you to restart the computer. Also make sure to keep your video drivers updated. My money is on that doing the trick but without seeing what's happening, I can't tell you for certain.
