I don't think so, had the movie been better it would have better legs.

Black Panther 2 and Dr Strange 2 nearly made a billion dollars. Expect the same with Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
So I don't know what you're talking about.

Man are people seriously getting excited over Cocaine Bear? It seems like such a lame gimmicky film, it reminds me of "Snake on a Plane" (which flopped if I remember correctly)

Yeah, and it’s not like it had a big opening weekend. Still, the diehard fans do turn up for opening weekend. But that fanbase is dwindling.

Being that Disney+ is available, it could just be that more people are waiting to watch it there.

I think we are definitely starting to see some superhero fatigue finally set in. That’s not to say these movies aren’t still popular or valuable. However, if Disney is counting on these movies to dominate 5-6 releases per year for the next 10yrs they better start rethinking their strategy.

The faster Disney dies the better. The current company cares very little about its back catalog and more so Fox’s that any bad news for them is good news for classic film.

To be honest, Quantumania wasn't as rewatchable as some of Marvel's biggest hits. The characters enter into the Quantum Realm, battle Kang, and leave. It left so little that needs to be rewatched in theaters.

For most of the audience, I think End Game was the natural conclusion to the cycle. They don't see the need to continue.
Writing quality of the films since then has declined. People won't come out for bad storytelling.

I would like to see Marvel and DC films, die a quick and embarrassing death very soon. The way things are going, you may just get that.

How about some context. The first Ant-Man film grossed $519,311,965 worldwide in 2015, months after Age of Ultron grossed $1,402,805,868. I guess people were getting sick of Marvel movies by then, huh? The second Ant-Man movie grossed $622,674,139 after Infinity War's haul of $2,048,359,754. Again, did that mean people had lost interest in Marvel movies, or maybe this character's solo adventures don't move the dial the way other MCU movies do? Doctor Strange 2 grossed $955,775,804 last May, Wakanda Forever $858,124,190, last November. While WF is a drop from the first movie's haul of over $1B, Strange 2 is actually a $300M increase over the first installment. Still think people are losing interest? Or maybe some movies within a franchise are better than others?
There are still films to come with headliners like the Fantastic Four and the X-Men; anyone doubting the MCU in this thread care to go out on a limb and predict those will bomb?
I'm a fan of the MCU, but I understand not liking these movies. I don't like Fast and Furious or Avatar movies, and I'm perfectly willing to criticize them. What I'm not going to do is pretend nobody has any interest in seeing them when the box office consistently proves otherwise.
