At the time of its release it was a bit of an oddity that stuck out when the charts were full of shallow and excruciating shit such as 50 Cent, Pussycat Dolls and James Blunt. It’s nice that Way was incorporating his artistry but I think the song is a bit ham fisted and corny (like most operas in general). I appreciate his efforts and I think he never got the respect he deserved when his music was dismissed by the masses.

I cannot say I'm a big fan, despite the song itself being very catchy. I just never really liked the band.
