All original members of Skynyrd are now gone. They had some help there.

RIP. Very underrated guitar player. He seemed like a really likeable guy in the Skynyrd documentaries he was in. Last of the founding members and only Artemus Pyle is left from the classic lineup.

I liked his style. Apparently he was due to hit the road come summertime with Billy Gibbons. Between them, you had some of the best hair in the business, facial and up top.
“Gary Rossington’s loss is especially profound for us as we’ve spent countless hours in his company on tour and all points in between. We facilitated getting Lynyrd Skynyrd on the bill with ZZ Top at a South Carolina date way back during the start of the band’s rise in ’73, which started an enduring friendship.”
