Noticed two dejected Juve fans smoking at the stadium. Every stadium I've been to recently has a no smoking ban or a designated smoking area outside the stadium. Is smoking allowed in European venues? Just Wales?

I think its the "I don't give a shit if I get chucked out now" time. Yeah, that could be. Here in the States, you get yelled at until you put it out.

Losing fans should be allowed to smoke.

Losing fans should be allowed to smoke. And winning fans. I've given up smoking, but I gotta admit, I like the smell of cigarettes when I walk past someone smoking. Plus it gives a smug feeling of satisfaction knowing they will probably die before me. I think it is in UKIP's manifesto that they'll bring back smoking to pubs and bars (or it used to be), about the only good thing about UKIP.

I was in Japan two months ago. Japan still allows smoking in bars, cafés and restaurants. I had forgotten how unpleasant it is to be in a restaurant with people smoking all around me.

I have fond memories of going to my favourite Chinese restaurant, and a waiter or waitress would run over to light my cigarette as soon as they saw me take a Benson out the box. These guys, they must have had eyes in the back of their head. It was like a 1940s movie. Those were the days. (Although obviously you probably wouldn't have liked it there).
