of these father and son Cronenberg movies?
Shivers (1975) or Antiviral (2012) eXistenZ (1999) or Possessor (2020) Crimes of the Future (2022) or Infinity Pool (2023)

Out of all these, I just saw eXistenZ and thought it was alright.

eXistenZ (1999) might be my least favourite Cronenberg movie, but I have considered giving it another try.
Possessor (2020) I thought was technically well-made, but cold and soulless.
Haven't seen the others.

Haven't seen any Cronenberg Jr's work yet. I hear good things.

No question, going with Shivers. It’s totally cheap but highly effective, vintage and essential Cronenberg. Other than that, eXistenZ needs a rewatch as it has been a long time. I recall not being particularly taken with it, but then again Possessor didn’t exactly float my boat either, aside from jaw dropping violence/gore in the uncut version I saw. I did laugh my ass off at the twist though, well played. Haven’t seen Crimes of the Future, but thought Infinity Pool was great as a totally bonkers and fucked up little movie.

Crimes of the Future sucked, switched it off after 40 minutes. It was weird for the sake of being weird.
eXistenZ I enjoyed. If anyone wants to know what a 'k hole' feels like, watch this film.
Shivers is more up my street, along with Rabid and The Fly. Just good old fashioned body horror with no pretentions to be weird and Lynchian.
I've not seen the others yet. Really want to see Infinity Pool
