Did Michael Bay intend for the role of the main girl in Ambulance to be played by Megan Fox?

A review from a Texas newspaper called Eiza González "Megan Fox 2.0" which is a statement I totally disagree with. In González they got a real actor instead of a manufactured "movie star." She is the best part of the movie, even though Fox may have two bigger talents. I can't find any other mention of Fox in connection with "Ambulance" (not to say I made an exhaustive search).

Can't really disagree with something that's fact, just use your eyes. The resemblance is there. And are you trying to imply that Fox is not a real star? Aren't they on bad terms? They used to be during the Transformers era when she called him Hitler or whatever. But I remember they claimed to have made up some years later, and then Fox was cast as the star in the Ninja Turtle movies which were produced by Bay.

I rewatched Bad Boys and noticed that Tea Leoni's character gave me Megan Fox/Eiza Gonzalez vibes as well, which I hadn't noticed before. So maybe it's simply a case of Michael Bay having a certain type. Can't put my finger on what it is making them look or at least "feel" similar though 🤔
