Well that title is a lie, if they had been forgotten, how could they name them in a list ?
10 not well remembered genocides would be a more accurate title.
Forgotten genocides could not be listed, as they have been forgotten, and there are probably many of them.

Forgotten genocides could not be listed, as they have been forgotten, and there are probably many of them. The English word "forgotten" used in this connotation is correct. Like in forgotten due to neglect or forgotten on purpose. "Never Forget" is the epitaph of the Holocaust for a reason...but memories fade and much of even it is already forgotten or even called a hoax. So, calling it a lie is harsh.

Some of them aren't really 'forgotten', just not as much made mention of these days. I was familiar with the Cambodian, Greek, Bangladeshi, East Timor, and Kurdish atrocities. A good history student would likely be familiar with several more or all of them.

If you remember/discover something that was forgotten..... was it not still forgotten?
