i just watched sleep away camp for the first time a few months back. Oh my god that ending! 😱😃
It's most definitely a twist ending we would never have expected ( right Jay ? ) .
I remember renting that one many years ago on VHS
at the local rental store back in the 1980's - when it was brand new
a really good movie but literally haven't seen it since then .
If only one of the cable TV Channels or
even On-Demand would show this one again soon that would be awesome . it was chilling. I couldn’t stop thinking about that movie after I saw it 😃 We all watched it in the chatroom awhile back and we streamed it off YouTube. It wasn’t me that picked the movie but I got hooked 😁. I’m surprised I never saw it back then

It's so true Jay once you start watching these classic horror flicks
it will definitely leave quite a lasting impression
that you will want to watch way more of these
( the storylines alone are usually the most intriguing ) .
That's another awesome thing about the 1970's and 1980's was the discovery
of all these new yet unfamiliar at that time horror flicks that you could come across
at the video store it was so easy to get hooked on every weekend for sure .
So many cool movies to choose from that some are now cult classics too .
I definitely recommend watching more like these again very soon .

did you ever see re-animator? We watched that in the chat last week and that did not go over so well with a few people because of the gore. One person got sick and had nightmares 😧

Absolutely Jay definitely rented this good classic one back in the day
and then bought it on VHS in the early 1990's too !!
That's definitely another awesome memorable fun flick
and handsome actor Jeffrey Combs was the best in this one also .
The poster & movie cover caught my eye back in the day to a must rent deal .
The gore in this one is really no different than stuff of most movies and TV Shows of back then & today
perhaps it must be certain folks who don't watch horror or slasher flicks all that often in their lives ( IMPO - The HELLRAISER Film series is way more stomach churning than most of these films combined ? ) .

DEEP RED 1975 -- First of all-I was fooled by the killer's identity even though I did notice the "painting" in the early scene where psychic is killed.
And the red herring worked, I had suspicions about a particular character and sure enough they filmed that character in a certain way to make you suspicious-I even wonder if they switched performers for one shot to make you get weirded out on a sub conscious level.

Just watched a Spanish Horror Zombie movie that was made on the English countryside, No profanar el sueño de los muertos aka Let Sleeping Corpses Lie aka The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue 1974. The living dead are awoke thanks to radiation that is being used by area farmers as a pesticide alternative. A police inspector is hunting a young couple who he thinks are guilty of a lot of dead bodies, maybe they are satanists or something. Rather exciting, with good use of the English countryside, and a very dumb police inspector (played by American Arthur Kennedy), but I'm no expert of Zombie movies.

Elizabeth Harvest (2018) A very rich man brings his young bride home to his mansion. He has one room she must promise never to enter, so naturally what does she do the 1st chance she gets? I won't reveal more as much of the charm of this movie lies in the effort to figure out what the hell is going on. It throws you clues, and curve balls, and surprises throughout. Under rated, IMO, on IMDB at 5.7. I'll give it a 7.5

So-so Hammer production. You would have to think Christopher Lee got the role of Fu Manchu because of this film.

I See You (2019) The trailer intrigued me because I had no idea how what was shown all fitted in with each other. The film itself was pretty damn fine....full of unexpected twists and turns.

Really awesome there sostie !!
The story's plot line from what I read seems to have all the creepy fun makings
of a movie to watch on the channels LMN or LIFETIME
( definitely another set of fun quality channels to watch movies like these on ) .
Thanks so much for this movie recommendation and for your reply here too .
