His political aspirations were there when we saw he's become the Secretary of State in Civil War, he just took it to the next step.
As for the rest, I wouldn't take anything 4Chan has to say seriously.
And a Captain America movie being too one-sided politically...wow, like that didn't happen before.
A battle at the White House reminding people of Jan 6th? How is that the MCU's fault something happened in Real Life?
There was no indication was given that he wanted to be President. This narrative isn't limited to being a 4Chan exclusive, as others have also reported on it, and MyTimeToShineHello, who has a fairly spot-on track record as a scooper, recently corroborated on it. Not to the extent that audiences expressed so much dislike for it that the studio decided to order a rewrite, set up reshoots, and delay the film for a year - if there was nothing to be concerned over it, it would stick to its intended release date. No, but it is their fault for failing to make a compelling narrative that parallels it, and messing up so bad they have to rework a lot of the picture. It was shown he got into politics, we don't need much more than that seeing how we haven't seen Ross since Endgame 4 years ago.
And those others can easily be wrong too.
The reshoots and rewrites were really due to the strikes. The idea that it was all due to the test reaction not being happy there wasn't more fighting is just sensationalism.
For some people, no narrative would make them happy to see something like that on screen. They'll complain about the new ending too.

But why is he President of the United States and not Ritson? Given Endgame was 2023, 2024 like in real-life would mark the next time there was a Presidential election, and if Secret Invasion is meant to take place in mid-2025 that means Ritson was elected to office and should still be serving his term. The only way it can work without breaking continuity is if Ritson was impeached at some point. If they had confidence in the picture, they wouldn't have hired a new writer to rework a substantial amount of the script and order heavy reshoots, and not delay a release for another full year.

I don't know, but I'll watch the movie and see for myself what the explanation is.
They new writer didn't rework a "substantial amount" of the script. They brought in a Moon Knight writer to add a few actions scenes because the movie was more plot driven and the test audiences wanted more fight scenes. As for delaying release, they probably want to make up for the oversaturation they caused before.

If there is one at all. Sure. Whatever makes you feel better about the situation.
