WKD likes Skyline chili, it comes in both canned and frozen form. I paid $5.59 for the canned, I forgot what I paid for the frozen. When we lived in New Mexico, he liked getting chili from Lot a Burger. He did not like New Mexican chili, it was like soup, they have both the red and green chili. When I see the Wendy's chili, I'll pick up a can.

Been years since I had Wendy's chili. But I remember I liked it. If I see it in any stores I will try it. Thanks for the tip.

I bought a can of Wendy's chili at our local Rouses today and we had it for supper, it was the best chili I've had in decades!!!! (and I'm not a big chili eater) I'm going back to the store tomorrow morning to buy several more cans before they run out. It was $3.99 a can. I haven't seen it at Publix or Walmart.

Anybody know how the canned version compares with what they serve in the restaurant? That is the only thing I ever order at Wendys. It is almost as good as mine.

WKD says it tastes just like the Wendy's chili he used to get (but he hasn't had Wendy's chili in a decade) but it is very good and I'm not a chili eater.

Thanks for the heads-up on that. Definitely want to try some. I've started looking for it in my local stores... have not seen it yet.

Walmart might have Wendy's Chili, I bought some more from the local Rouses (yes I'm hoarding chili) but Thursday I'm going to the local Walmart for a few things so I'm going to check if they have it. Publix still does not have it.

Pretty expensive, but I wanted to find out what real Cincinatti chili tasted like. I cannot say I am impressed. It was rather watery and had a strange combination of spices. It tasted like it had cloves and allspice with possibly a hint of nutmeg. I ate it the traditional way, over spaghetti with mild cheddar cheese on top. No chili beats mine, by the way.

The Wendy's canned chili is very good. I did not like Skyline chili. I used to make chili and always put a big spoon of Cocoa in it but we always had too much leftover and it would go to waste, now I'll just warm up 2 cans of Wendy's when we want chili, 1/2 can for me and 1 1/2 cans for WKD, works out perfect for us. I hope they continue to make Wendy's chili in the can.
