Think you can bench it? I've always heard the true test if one is strong - is that they should be able to bench their own body weight...... I do a lot of cardio - which technically isn't good for mass muscle build - I'm curious if I can do it........

I only do incline bench presses. It works the upper pecs. So the weight I lift is less than I could lift on a flat bench. I'm not that interested in how much I lift anyways, I'm all about doing it in proper form.

I'm watching the NFL Draft right now and have 2 pillows behind my back kind of slouched and am pressing light free weights if you will - I'm on an 'incline' with my pillows.......but I switch the position of my pillows trying to target my whole chest

It's a little easier on the shoulders too. Get on a weightlifting bench and lift the bench close to the bar up, way up. You'll see it's much harder to do and you'll feel it more.

I typically just do push-ups and planks .......switching the positioning of my hands at times

Lots of people tell you not to bench anymore. Rough on the shoulders. When I do bench I generally do lighter weight dumbbells and try to hit them flat, incline, and decline.
It's been a while since I've tried to max out and I can't imagine I'd be anywhere near where I used to be, but the most I ever put up was 365.
