even as a 16 year old I thought this was the dumbest looking thing ever. Looks like people agreed since this was one of the biggest bombs of all time  |

I grew up with the cartoons. I loved it! I used to draw the Mach-5 all over my school notebooks. When the movie came out, I was first in line to see it, even though my expectations were low. I ended up liking it more that I thought I would, and even went to see it again.

Watched it after its run in the cinemas, and like Jep Gambardella ended up liking it more than I thought I would. It was a visual delight.

An overlong and over-stylized effort by The Wachowskis with not enough verisimilitude, and surprisingly for a film based on a very fast paced property this film is pretty slow in a lot of places. Emile Hirsch does good though.
