Actual odds, none of that betting odds stuff.
Detroit Pistons (17-65): 14.0% Houston Rockets (22-60): 14.0% San Antonio Spurs (22-60): 14.0% Charlotte Hornets (27-55): 12.5% Portland Trail Blazers (33-49): 10.5% Orlando Magic (34-48): 9.0% Indiana Pacers (35-47): 7.5% Washington Wizards (35-47): 4.5% Utah Jazz (37-45): 4.5% Dallas Mavericks (38-44): 4.5%* Chicago Bulls (40-42): 1.8%** Oklahoma City Thunder (40-42): 1.7% Toronto Raptors (41-41): 1.0% New Orleans Pelicans (42-40): 0.5%
*Pick conveys to New York Knicks if outside top 10 **Pick conveys to Orlando Magic if outside top four
My preference, ignoring the threat to the Warriors:
1. Portland Trail Blazers (33-49): 10.5% 2. Oklahoma City Thunder (40-42): 1.7% 3. Dallas Mavericks (38-44): 4.5%* 4. Washington Wizards (35-47): 4.5% 5. Indiana Pacers (35-47): 7.5% 6. San Antonio Spurs (22-60): 14.0% 7. Chicago Bulls (40-42): 1.8%** 8. Charlotte Hornets (27-55): 12.5% 9. Toronto Raptors (41-41): 1.0% 10. Utah Jazz (37-45): 4.5%

I stand by my prediction.
If a team wins the lottery and a blockbuster trade can be made immediately putting them in contention - the pick will be dealt
Think pairing Luka with Embiid (who knows what Kyrie is going to do)
Think pairing Dame with Jo-Jo
Beal with Jo-Jo - the list goes on and on
If Zion is healthy - Zion, Jo-Jo, Ingram, CJ - who beats that team?
Now if a complete and total dud like the Pistons win the Draft - yes - they'll keep the pick Going to be a fascinating offseason with the Draft and Free Agency

Just to piggyback on the topic then I'm out -
There were grumblings when the Mavs missed the playoffs that Luka was unhappy and Cuban, et al needed to think of ways to keep him happy so he didn't request a trade
i.e - Luka wants to win. Now.
Who helps Luka win now?
Wemba or a superstar like Jo-Jo?
Jo-Jo - and it gives them a chance to win 3 straight chips together.

Maybe if he ran to the Western conference, he wouldn't get eliminated by the Celtics as early every year, and he'd finally make it out of the second round.

If the Bulls get him, the conspiracy theorists will come out, especially with Bedard going to Chicago.
Too bad the Knicks, Lakers, and Celtics are on the outside.
Embiid is too much of a dinosaur, a Patrick Ewing. Shot 43% in the playoffs, 17.9% from 3, and 3.9 TO/g at center.
Also would not trust his health for a full season. Still hasn't played more than 68 games in any season.
No one will pass on a generational talent. If they do, they will regret it and the fans will never let them forget.

Absolute state of Forest Green Rovers currently, we'll take him.

Utah Jazz (37-45): 4.5% I'm with you - - I'd want Portland to get him out of the teams that have a significant shot. On the whole, it's a lot of boring teams. The Charlotte Hornets might be the most boring franchise in any of the four sports.

Toronto Raptors with 1% chance. If they win, I will spend the next 7 days only responding with your mother jokes.
I'm betting San Antonio Spurs... they seem fated for this stuff.

I think the Raptors, Spurs, & Magic are my only landing spots I'd wish. I don't need a third Pistons run atop the East in my lifetime. The Rockets are stale. The Blazers are fun, but Lillard isn't getting any younger.

As a Cavs fan im not keen on the idea of him getting picked by the Pacers, Pistons, or Bulls… or really any team in the East. Would rather he get drafted by a team out West.
To answer the question, I think he goes to the Rockets.

Wow... I'm fairly certain I've not been alive to see a former dynasty rise from the dead for another run.
Pittsburgh Penguins comes close yet back to backs with Mario-Jagr isn't a dynasty. 49ers are 0-2 in the SB since their 5th. I'm not counting the Yankees, Celtics, or Lakers btw.

This will keep Popovich on the bench for a few more years. Maybe hold off on the "dynasty" talk, though.
