We all know the "Portland drafts Bowie over Jordan" story. What other draft picks did you think were mistakes?
I also thought Portland (Poor Portland) drafting Greg > Durant was a mistake. Imagine that team with Durant on it.
Warriors taking Joe Smith over guys like Kevin Garnett and Rasheed Wallace
This one will hurt, Minnesota taking Jonny Flynn over S. CURRY, Jrue Holiday, and Ty Lawson
Bobcats taking Adam Morrison over Rondo and Rudy Gay
A major one: Detroit taking Darko over Carmelo Anthony, D Wade, and Chris Bosh (Think how great Detroit could have been with any of those guys!)
Last one I recall: Washington nabbing Kwame Brown instead of Pau Gasol or Z Randolph.
Trades: Houston getting Drexler for basically Otis Thrope (there were other pieces but that was the main gist)
Charles Barkley to the Suns for Jeff Hornacek, Tim Perry, and Andrew Lang who went to the 76ers.
How the Spurs stole Leonard for basically George Hill...yikes
So any other lopsided trades or bad draft picks when the team could have had a stud?

Don't forget that Kobe Bryant was drafted by, and traded from, the Charlotte Hornets.

Anthony Bennett.
I don't even know if you can call him a bust if he wasn't ever truly a bluechipper. Blame the Cavs & scouts.

Don't forget that Kobe Bryant was drafted by, and traded from, the Charlotte Hornets. Kobe forced their hand. He refused to play for them, the Lakers were 2 or 3 teams he would play for. Worst draft pick, the Sixers taking Larry Hughes over Paul Pierce. Larry Brown later said he promised Hughes he would take him if he was there, but he didn't think Pierce would be there. He chose Hughes because he didn't think a man should go back on his word.

My point was just to no fault of the Hornets. BTW, the Lakers have benefitted to many lopsided trades

Okay, I see what you are saying.
I guess a similar example would be Elway refusing to play for the Colts.
But, if you are just sizing up that trade, no one could seriously argue that the Colts got the better end of that deal.
