Vapes confiscated from school pupils contain high levels of lead, nickel and chromium, BBC News has found. Used vapes gathered at Baxter College in Kidderminster were tested in a laboratory. The results showed children using them could be inhaling more than twice the daily safe amount of lead, and nine times the safe amount of nickel. Some vapes also contained harmful chemicals like those in cigarette smoke. High levels of lead exposure in children can affect the central nervous system and brain development, according to the World Health Organization. It is thought vapes are being used widely by secondary school children and Baxter College is not alone in trying to stop them vaping during school hours. www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-65614078

And kids do them because 'they wouldn't sell a product that's dangerous', like...cigarettes?

And kids do them because 'they wouldn't sell a product that's dangerous', like...cigarettes? These are still illegal but I suppose the taste has something to do with the popularity.

Yes, evidently that's their big selling point to kids. They come in flavors like; cinnamon, various fruits, candies ... who knows what else. It's weird enough to see someone expelling smoke out of their mouths. But, the vapor that's exhaled is a thick cloud, and truly gross.

But, the vapor that's exhaled is a thick cloud, and truly gross. That’s part of smoking which doesn’t offend me. I’m more offended by the stale smell, heavy smoke and accompanying litter that goes with smoking. I have some vapes because I like the scent in small doses but tend to blow the vapour out instead of sucking. I wish people would learn how to correctly dispose of their disposable vapes.
