Supergirl, Elektra and Catwoman - such a high standard to meet. Actually, Wonder Woman is in top 3 of RT ratings (along with The Dark Knight and Logan) among ALL superhero movies. So the standard isn't just Supergirl, Elektra, and Catwoman. The standard is ALL superhero movies, and Wonder Woman is better than almost ALL superhero movies, including better than ALL of MCU.
What's that? You don't care about RT ratings. But you MCU fans love to talk about how MCU got higher RT ratings than MoS, BvS, and Suicide Squad. So now that Wonder Woman has higher RT ratings than ALL of MCU, you suddenly don't care about RT ratings? So RT ratings are meaningful only when MCU movies gets higher RT ratings but are meaningless as soon as a DCEU movie gets a higher RT ratings than ALL of MCU? Such hypocrisy by MCU fans.

They couldn't destroy the one Mothership controlling the one group of Chitauri because they didn't know where it was and the wormhole wasn't open yet. The Chitauri invaders came through the wormhole from the mother ship so the wormhole was already opened. You can't be so niave to think that Fury has no right to stop a stupid counter-productive order. You can't be so naive to think that Fury could override the POTUS' order to launch a nuclear missile. Cap doesn't want to be a slave to a system he KNOWS is flawed. Cap doesn't want UN oversight of the Avengers because he doesn't respect the authority of the people and he wants to be a tyrant who unilaterally decides what's best for the people (just like Hitler, Stalin, and Castro unilaterally decided what's best for their people). HYDRA is a worldwide terrorist organization And yet, Cap aids and abets a HYDRA assassin and suspected terrorist (Bucky) to escape from the authorities.

I think Superman cared more about smooching with Lois at what is essentially ground zero than he did about any casualties. Captain America cared more about getting inside Peggy Carter's panties than defeating the Nazis.
Nick Fury: "Hey Steve, you've been frozen in ice for 70 years. You just woke up. How you feeling? Are you OK?"
Captain America: "I've been frozen in ice for 70 years? Damn, I had a date. I don't care who won the war. I was going to screw Peggy Carter, but now she's too old. Oh wait, I heard Peggy Carter has a niece. Since I couldn't screw Peggy Carter, I'll screw her niece."

In Response: I say, good choice Steve! I prefer Lois Lane (Amy Adams). Amy is fantastic. But Hayley Atwell is near perfection in my humble opinion.

Lol. Take it easy. That's not at all how it happened. When Cap woke up, the city wasn't a devastated landscape.

Lol. Take it easy. That's not at all how it happened. When Cap woke up, the city wasn't a devastated landscape. That is basically what happened. From Steve Rogers' perspective, he was still fighting in World War II just the day before and he probably remembers the war like it was yesterday. When someone wakes up after being asleep for 70 years and the last thing they were doing before they went to sleep was fight in a war, normally the 1st thing they would ask is "Who won the war?" or "Did we win the war?"
But Steve Rogers didn't care about defeating the Nazis. That's why he never even asked about the war. He only cared about getting inside Peggy Carter's panties.

Lol. No, that is not at all what happened. He realized as soon as he woke up, he wasn't in his time. And Fury told him he'd been under for 70 years. So he knew it was over.
Actually, the first thing someone waking up would do is look around and realize that the signs in New York are in English and not German. Common sense.
Steve was in a pristine, clean New York when he thought about his date.
Clark made out with Lois at ground zero.
It's a world of difference.

Firstly YOU keep emphasising it's the best female led superhero movie ever...so I pointed out that is faint praise. I did not say it was not a good film. In fact if you look back at any post I have done I have not once said anything negative about Wonder Woman. So please, stop being a whiney little bitch and assuming anyone who likes Marvel films ONLY like Marvel films. Most of the people who reply to your posts don't do it because they dont like DC..they don't like your biased, ill thought out, confrontational crap you keep posting, and doing so in the Marvel thread as well, as if you consider your posts to be oh so important. Sorry mate, you are more irritant and figure of fun than someone with an opinion that is taken seriously. Now back to the confrontational.... This MCU "fan" didn't say anything about RT scores...wind your neck in little man. Now from your outburst I am assuming that RT scores and reviews are a valid indicator of the quality of a film...at least in Wonder Woman's case (because obviously those RT scores for Marvel films rated higher than the first three DCEU films don't count). Well it's funny when someone mentioned elsewhere that the WW score may have been a little higher, because the previous 3 DCEU films were poor. You called BS. So, when I picked the first 20 reviews on RT, and 12 of them commented on the poor quality of the previous DCEU films (as well as pointing out similarities to Marvel/Cap america) you are absent in your response. You kind of clam up and hide away when you got no comeback don't you. Bit like that time you blew up accusing me of saying Dwayne Johnson was a different race to what he is...when even in my quote you posted it showed I said nothing of the sort.

They still didn't know blowing up the ship would stop them. They got lucky with the nuke.
Actually, he never said he was overriding anything. He told them it was a stupid order and was proven right.
Cap doesn't want to be a slave to a system he knows is flawed. Like Superman and Batman. He knows that the Majority aren't always right just because they're the majority. If you come down on him you must come down on Superman (who does NOT bow to the people, he humors them) or Batman (who also does his own thing, the GCPD is just too incompetent to do anything about it).
Cap helped a victim of Hydra escape death for a crime he didn't commit. Superman and Batman would have done no less.

So he knew the war was over, but he didn't care who won or if the Nazis were defeated. He only cared about getting inside Peggy Carter's panties. Actually, the first thing someone waking up would do is look around and realize that the signs in New York are in English and not German. Common sense. Steve was in a pristine, clean New York when he thought about his date. When the Nazis conquered France, did all the signs in France change from French to German? Even in the areas where the resistance was? Even if the signs in New York are in English, that doesn't prove that the Nazis were defeated. When the Nazis conquered France, Charles de Gaulle set up his government-in-exile in London, where the signs weren't in German. Even if the signs in New York were in English, that could've just meant that the Nazis conquered Europe and either New York was part of the resistance or America agreed to an armistice to end the war but the Nazis remained in control of Europe. Clark made out with Lois at ground zero. It's a world of difference. The difference is that Steve Rogers didn't care at all about defeating the Nazis and only cared about getting inside Peggy Carter's panties while Clark Kent did what EVERY NORMAL PERSON would do in that situation. They just prevented the end of the world and survived a war. The natural reaction is to hug and/or kiss someone you love. When you complain about that scene, you're really complaining about all the US soldiers who came back from World War I or World War II and the first thing they did was hug and/or kiss someone they loved. Because that's the natural reaction for anyone who survives a war or a terrorist attack or a natural disaster or some other life-threatening event - they find someone they love and they give them a hug and/or a kiss. Later on, they'll grieve for friends who were lost in the war. But before they grieve, the first thing they do after surviving a war is to take a moment to catch their breath and find someone they love and give the a hug and/or a kiss. That's a natural reaction and there's nothing wrong with that. Captain America: The First Avenger was much worse. Steve Rogers wakes up after 70 years and runs out of the SHIELD building into Times Square. Nick Fury tells Rogers that he had been asleep for 70 years and then asks Rogers "Are you OK?" Someone who had just been fighting a war against the Nazis and then woke up 70 years later, the first thing they would've asked was "Who won the war?" or "Did we win the war?" But Rogers never even asked about the war. Instead the first thing Rogers said was "I had a date". From Rogers' perspective, the day before he was still fighting a war against the Nazis. Suddenly, all Rogers cared about was not being able to get inside Peggy Carter's panties.

Cap helped a victim of Hydra escape death for a crime he didn't commit. Are you saying that Bucky didn't murder Howard and Maria Stark? The videotape clearly shows Bucky murdering the Starks. And Captain America knew that too so Captain America knowingly aided and abetted a HYDRA assassin to escape from the authorities. Superman and Batman would have done no less. Unless you can provide an actual example of Superman or Batman aiding and abetting an assassin to escape from the authorities, then your claim is nothing but TYPICAL BULLSHIT MADE UP A BIASED MCU FANBOY WHO KNOWS HE HAS NO FACTS TO SUPPORT HIS BS CLAIMS.

Was there a 70 year time span of the occupation of France? And yes, there were a lot of new signs in German. New York had zero. 0. None.
Nope. Rogers figured it out with context clues.
Now, no more ridiculous defense of a badly written out of character moment for Clark. That was just horrific. Steve wasn't surrounded by the casualties of a war. Superman was right in the middle of a devastated Metropolis.
I love how you prove me right. Because from Clark's perspective, just a few seconds earlier, Metropolis was being devastated and the entire world was in danger. Yet he'd rather make out with Lois in the middle of a destroyed city surround by the victims.

Either of those were possibilities. But Rogers didn't even ask about the war because Rogers didn't care about defeating the Nazis. Rogers only cared about getting inside Peggy Carter's panties. You got your head so far up DC's ass, you can't even have a rational debate/discussion about the films. Seriously, look at Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Rosario Dawson, Joss Whedon and any other Marvel actor's Twitter feed, they're all praising Gal Gadot for Wonder Woman. Imagine that, you can like both series.

That's like blaming Captain Picard for what happened when the Borg assimilated him. Superman and Batman would help a victim escape wrongful prosecution, yes. If you think they wouldn't then you don't understand them at all. In fact, Batman helps people he cares about escape justice a lot of the time (Red Hood, Catwoman) and Superman has no problem turning his back on people he's sworn to protect (giving up his powers in SM2) and violating peoples' minds because he thinks he knows best (erasing Lois' mind). And Steve's reaction when he woke up was perfectly human, upset he'd been gone for 70 years. Plenty of people would act the way he did.

Then he should've turned himself in. The Starks were murdered. Their killer or killers should be brought to justice. Bucky was the prime suspect in the murder of the Starks. If he was brainwashed as he supposedly claims, then he should turn himself in so that the cops can clear him of the murders and then go after the people who supposedly brainwashed him and charge them with the murder of the Starks. By not turning himself in, he prevents the cops from going after the people who supposedly brainwashed him and thus prevents the cops from bringing the killer or killer of the Starks to justice.
Moreover, by aiding and abetting Bucky to escape from the authorities, Captain America forced the cops and the government to use valuable manpower and spend valuable time and money trying to bring them in when the manpower, time, and money could be spent on bringing other criminals to justice. And as I said, by aiding and abetting Bucky to escape from the authorities, Captain America is also aiding and abetting the people who supposedly brainwashed him from escaping justice for the murder of the Starks.
But Captain America had no interest at all in bringing the killer or killers of the Starks to justice. Captain America only wanted to aid and abet a suspected terrorist and murderer to escape from the authorities, thereby not only causing the cops and the government to use up valuable manpower and spend valuable time and money but also allowing the killer or killers of the Starks to escape justice.
