I just posted this on reddit.
When pouring liquid from newly-opened containers with an offset spout, such as nut milk or broth, position the spout corner at the top. The flow is perfect and it won't spill or drip.
With the hole at the bottom, air has to push up around the liquid, so it pulses and spills and drips. This also applies to pouring motor oil.
