My question is... do feminist critics prefer to watch Amazonian women practicing on an island devoid of any "evil" male over watching great heroes like Batman or Captain America because they're men?? Do these women like men at all or do they harbor some unspoken lesbian tendencies??
I mean, where, how and why do they find empowerment in female action heroes? I guarantee you. Most of these feminist critics aren't about to join the WWF or join the armed forces any time soon.

As for the critics, WB paid for the good reviews. No.

...or are the critics just giving "positive" reviews for the same reason they gave "positive" reviews to Fembusters; out of fear of being called sexists? Given the track record of the DCEU so far, I wouldn't be surprised. Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and Suicide Squad were all crap, but critics could rightly declare them as such since these were not female-centered films. Nobody would complain if you criticized those films. But just look at the backlash Richard Roeper took for having the audacity to hate Fembusters. And before people bring up "Catwoman" and "Elektra", those movies came out over a decade ago. Social media was in its infancy and the media and entertainment hadn't been completely taken over by SJWs at that time. I've got $571 million after 3 weekends saying that it is good. The critics don't matter. The box office is telling us that people are buying it.

It's showing some of the best legs of any modern CBM.
