I’m okay with him returning as Philip. JKJ looked terrible the last time he returned and grinned like Victor all the time. He just didn’t seem to be interested in the show anymore. Besides, I think the return is short lived. Rumor is that Chloe leaves Salem with Philip. It seems like Nadia has moved to North Carolina and retiring from acting to focus on her family full time.

Oh I hadn't heard that about Nadia but good for her. I don't dislike her or anything but I have never thought she was a good actress. I like Chloe and Xander but I am ok with her leaving with Philip.
I wonder when they are going to have Victor pass on the show? Seems as though we are coming up or have passed the episodes that were filmed around the time John passed IRL.

I also think that Chloe is just okay but Nadia is passable in the role and has great chemistry with some of her costars. I really liked her with Brady the most though. I believe that Victor’s death is coming up soon around the early part of August. I just can’t figure out why she would give Philip another chance after setting Brady up for his fake death and putting her through all of that. If people held a grudge for something as "petty" as framing someone for murder, no one would be able to date anyone on the show...😏 |

Don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t stand Broe when it was Nadia and Kyle. But, she had great chemistry with Eric Martsolf. I can’t stand Brady with Kristen. That one grosses me out. |

I liked Brady and Chloe just fine when Kyle was Brady. I'm a theatre nerd, so I guess I didn't mind the singing. I always wanted to see Brady and Chloe back together even after Eric took over the role, and they just kept pushing all these other random and often stupid pairings for both characters. I never understood why they went so far out of their way to distance Chloe and Brady, when literally any other two characters with the slightest history end up back in each other's orbit at some point; and usually not that long of wait. I always thought Eric and Nadia would have good chemistry and I was not only disappointed that they finally put them together after I was no longer watching, but that it was so short lived.

It's weird thinking back to that, especially since while they were off screen Chloe, as I recall, was making a pretty big splash on the opera scene, really getting her career going - and then does it ever really get mentioned anymore or much since? |

It really probably comes to down to just how much the show has boiled down and condensed everybody's personalities and purpose. They give them "jobs," but the titles are utterly meaningless. Remember when it was a big deal that they made John a multimillionaire, helping the Bradys turn the fish market into the Pub? Like now, anyone and their grandmother is a stone's throw away from being made Titan CEO if the it suits the plot. But it's not like they actually doing anything at work. They just fight over each other's titles and declare war with whomever else around at the time that they're not sleeping with; and maybe even then. |

Belle was on a path to be a nurse and then suddenly became a lawyer. EJ being a lawyer was also ridiculous.
