Oh boy this was disturbing. But not as close as what most of you have seen from the past. But speaking from my opinion, I'm not really in to this kind of horror. I just seen it because the curiosity got the better of me. I wanted to see how the bad ass surgeon was getting to caught. I was rooting for him all the way. But actually I felt the pain the three tourist victims were enduring. I was satisfied ith the ending but sad to see how the cops got shot. I guess the movie was a huge success given the fact that there was a sequel.

Have not seen the film, and from what I have heard/read about the film/films, it might be some time before I do. But then again, I said the same about the Hostel/Saw series, and well some of them did come with a couple of decent surprises, but "torture porn" if that is the right term, are just not my type of horror films. Anyway, if a dirt cheap copy of The Human Centipede, suddenly one day might show up, I might give it a chance.

It was on tv and I had nothing else to see. So I caught it midway. This kind of torture material isn't my thing either. But as a real horror fan would put it, 'this is what real horror is'? I guess this is for those people who psychological stuff doesn't work.

I'm not exactly a fan of the torture porn genre, but surprisingly I thought Human Centipede was pretty good. There was certainly some creativity and good suspense, however some of the material was implausible. Haven't bothered with the sequels yet.

I liked all three. I love shock/gross/disturbing horror films.

Not really into this type of horror either. I watched this movie years ago and hated everything about it...not because it was a bad movie...I just didn't like it. I watched again about a month ago to see if I still felt the same about it...I did. I hate this type of horror.

Ya, I liked the second one. It was horrific and slightly creative too with the first turning out to be a movie within a movie. No clue if they still stand up, don't care really since I won't see them again.
I couldn't be bothered with the third one.

I enjoyed the first movie, the build up was quite well done and the concept was reasonably fresh. I didn't care much for the second one, the point they were trying to make in the 2nd movie became slightly tiresome IMO. I watched it near release, but I haven't seen the color version, and I'd probably it in color. I don't really care for movies which try to 'make a point', or if they do, I like it subtly done.
The 3rd one was hit and miss for me. I'm usually a sucker for torture/horror, but Dieter Laser spending so much time just shouting was really frustrating. I found it kind of funny for the first 5 minutes, but monologues/long scenes of him just screaming were quite literally ear-splittingly painful. The gore/violence was quite creative and entertaining though.

Best one was the South Park knock-off.
