How do you feel about those people who shoot doctors who perform abortions?
They are a radical minority, to be sure. Their justification seems to be "an eye for an eye" type of thing, but there are a few issues with that.
They are going against what the Bible says "though shall not kill".
They are also misinterpreting the "eye for an eye thing". It means judge a person appropriately for what they did, not one judgement for all. Most would say you would judge a 7 y/o kid who takes a candy bar from Walmart differently than an adult who ran a large Ponzi scheme.

So by the same logic, you would judge someone who willingly and with financial incentive, murders thousands of helpless babies and several teenagers/grown women in the process as well and maims plenty more, over a span of years or decades, differently than someone who only kills once and not for a profit, correct?

Short answer is yes. The North American justice system sides with me. A judge always takes in factors such as previous convictions, motive, details of the crime, impact on the victim, etc when sentencing a person. A person who kills many would get a harsher sentence than one who kills a single person. There is also a factor whether the killing is accidental or not. There's the self defense issue as well. So, in light of what I just said, do you think a 7 y/o who takes a small candy bar should get the same sentence as Bernie Madoff - 150 years?

So then abortionists should be recognized as mass murdering hitmen with a medical license, instead of revered in society as champions of women's rights?

No. Fetuses are not human, not until they draw their first breath.

Yeah that sounds SO scientific. So when a baby's stillborn, and it hasn't breathed, you're saying the body that comes out of the mother is NOT a human. What is it then, a dog, a cat, a shark, a fly trap lily?

I think everybody's much more interested to know what alien species a baby is until it breathes on its own for the first time.

I'd like clarification. Are you looking for an answer to the actual question regarding people who shoot abortionists, or your added comments in the same post about their interpretation of 'eye for an eye'?
