In other words, if you heard the song. You'd know what tv show it was from.

Probably from the majority of the shows that I watch, and a few from the shows that I don't watch. Y'know - back when TV shows actually HAD theme songs. Now, thanks to Corporate America and Corporate Canada, TV show theme songs for most are cut back considerably (if not non-existent) so that more advertising can be sold where the theme song would be played. Many. Sometimes they're the best thing about the show--I know all the words to the Gilligan's Island theme, but I've never seen a full episode.

Even the words for the verse that played during the closing credits? No, because I would almost always hurry to switch it off after the opening credits. All I know is that it mentions "Robinson Caruso." I do know both the opening and closing credits to Beverly Hillbillies, though.

Allow me: "This is the story of our castaways, they're here for a long long time They'll have to make the best of things, it's an uphill climb The first mate and his Skipper too will do their very best to make the others comfortable in their tropic island nest No phones no lights no motor cars not a single luxury Like Robinson Caruso it's primitive as can be So join us here each week my friends you're sure to get a smile from 7 stranded castaways here on Gilligan's Ilse"

But it actually starts "Now, this is the tale of our castaways."

Marshall, Will, and Holly, on a routine expedition, met the greatest earthquake ever known. High on the rapids, it struck their tiny raft, and plunged them down a thousand feet below. To the land of the lost. To the land of the lost. To the land of the lost. When I look all around, I can't believe the things I found. I need to find my way. I'm lost I'm lost find me!
Livin' in the land of the lost. Livin' in the land of the lost lost lost lost lost.
