Which reboot you prefer? I didn’t care for Batman initially but subsequent viewings have deepened my appreciation. Casino Royale I’ve always loved so it gets my vote.   |

I like them both a lot but I'd go with Casino Royale, which is my favorite Bond film.
They're very different movies though.

I didn't care for Casino Royale the first time I watched it, but now I think it is very good. Batman Begins I liked a lot on first viewing. |

Batman Begins.
I'll have to watch Casino Royale again. I liked it fine, but the positive feedback over the years makes me wonder if it's better than I remember. I liked it but I kinda got lost in the action near the end. It was a triumphant resurrection of Bond but Skyfall is my MVP of the Daniel Craig run, and ironically I drifted off in the action near the end of that one too.

Two of my favourite 'origin' films ever, but Casino Royale wins out not only because it's my absolute favourite Bond film, but also because it has a far superior leading lady in Eva Green as Vesper Lynd.

Wow. These are two of my favorite films. Going to have to give the edge to Begins though due to the huge effect it had on my 13 year old self

Never warmed to the Daniel Craig movies.
On the other hand, Batman Begins is one of my favourite movies of the 2000s.

This is a tough one for me, as both had a strong impact on me in my youth and both I consider to be excellent examples of how to reboot of a franchise on film. I think I might go with Batman Begins on an entertainment level, but I feel Casino Royale has aged better.
