I'm making a taco bake casserole from All Recipes, I am leaving out the refried beans and green chilis and adding an extra 1/2 - 3/4 pound meat. (it seems like I'm always changing recipes a little, if we don't like certain things I just don't include them) Also instead of broken taco shells, I just use bite size Tostitos . I made this last month and and WKD loved it. I don't k now how to post something from the internet but if you are interested, just google Taco Bake Casserole from Allrecipes.

I haven't given it any thought, and I have no current plans for a picnic, etc.. Ribs sounds like a strong bet, whether I'm solo, or with others.
Labor Day is in that slice-of-time, which can go either way, in term of weather. We're near the end of summer fog, and on the "cusp" of a pleasant fall.
I'll have to think about it.

Well, it IS Labor Day ... and, I still haven't given it any thought. I'll hit Safeway, later, and pick something. But, the best thing is that, because it's a holiday, I allow myself potato chips!!!  Update: I settled on a BLT, and a little side-salad. I didn't need to shop for those. But, I did have to go get my chips. |
