Anyone see this? Kind of a Jaws imitation with a pack of wild dogs in lieu of the shark.

Don't think I've heard of it. Maybe I'll include it in my horror marathon this year.

Rather straight-forward, but at same time decent enough nature-run-amok horror. Directed by Robert Clouse (Enter the Dragon), good cast and a few intense, well-trained dog attack scenes.

kolchak92 Have you seen Orca? It was also released in 1977 and was clearly inspired by the success of Jaws. I watched it last year and it was a pleasant surprise for me.

There are some aspects that aren’t so straight forward IMO. That father who wanted to pair his mistress with his son (who was strange enough on his own) was very WTH? to me.

There is one particularly creepy scene where someone encounters the dog pack and think the howling may have took ideas from this for the car attack. It's rather sad about the dogs though. Was Jaws really the inspiration? There were a few ecology horror films before Jaws---Willard, Frogs, The Bees, The Night of the Grizzly...

I've seen it. It's ok. Gotta love Joe Don Baker. Orca is better.
