TDK. It was completely unnecessary to spend a 20 minutes going over the steps for kidnapping a man from his office in China when they could have saved SO much time just by having Batsy stop him at the airport. And doing Two-Face's entire story in one go and then just killing him was a total waste of the character. The film should have ended with the Joker's arrest and Two-Face disappearing into the Gotham underground to build his own criminal empire for the third movie. And then there's the fact the Joker would have to be omnipresent and omnipotent for any of his schemes to work. Well the original plan had the finale in a courtroom where the Joker throws acid on Dent, thus creating Two-Face for a mob movie in the sequel.
Ledger's tragic death caused Nolan to scrap the whole ending and just keep Two-Face as a contained villain for TDK alone. I still think it worked fine.I now can see that Nolan set some ideas and set-pieces that feel contrived (like the hunt for Lau in China as you said), but it works for me. I found the pacing to be fine; not too much action, not too much down time. I really hated the inclusion of TF in TDK; it was just that thing of, "Okay, now they're just cramming shit in to make it feel more epic," or something. I dunno. I would've really, really preferred a sequel where we fleshed out Two-Face properly and so on. What I don't get is why Ledger dying would make Nolan feel compelled to wrap everything up with everyone involved in the one film; anything, it strikes me that without the ability to put Ledger in the sequel, the desire to lean on the newly created Two-Face character for a follow-up would be even greater, not the opposite. I know you don't speak for Nolan, but -- I guess I'm just confused.

Honestly, I was about to say "and you'd think it was more troublesome in the long run having to completely rewrite the third movie after scrapping everything to do with The Joker." Then I remembered he basically just redoctored the script of the first movie, putting Bane and Talia in Ras's place and putting a dirty bomb in place of the water-evaporator and fear-drug.

professional critics on RT do, worse, they deem Lego Batman, or other kiddy dreck like Guardians better. I think that's absurd. But you know: opinions. Mothers. Don't sniff paint during pregnancy. If you do, your child will turn out like Tristan. good, let the butthurt flow through you. Speaking of genetic fallacies: Considering your ignorant output here and your preference for smelling your own farts, one really wonders what foul winds your ancestry were sniffing as a sexual fetish, Darth Eproctophilius....it surely wasn't Shakespeare!

If you do, your child will turn out like Tristan. And no one wants a child that is every bit like Tristan. *shudder*

You know, I liked WW quite a bit, but the whole adjusted score thing is misleading. The actual scores speak louder.
The Dark Knight RT: 94% (average score of 8.6/10) Metacritic: 82% IMDb Rating: 9.0/10 (1.8M votes)
Wonder Woman RT: 92% (average score of 7.5/10) Metacritic: 76% IMDb Rating: 8.0/10 (167,000 votes)
As I've always said, RT is really a worthless tool unless you look at the average scores, but even then TDK wins.
I liked WW a lot (it's one of my favorites of this stacked year), but TDK and Logan are both better. Just for reference, here are Logan's numbers:
RT: 93% (average score of 7.9/10) Metacritic: 77% IMDb: 8.3/10 (325,000 votes)

Honestly, the only thing I really use any of those sites for it to gauge what the general reception to a film is.

Personally, I have always looked at metacritic, and not at RT. if you look at RT's average score instead of the binary Tomatometer it's just the same thing as Metacritic, only RT on average has twice+ the amount of reviews and is thus more significant.
