Well, in the comics, Dick is 12 when he becomes Robin. It's unclear how old he's supposed to be in the movie. Bruce offhandedly says he should be in college, and that's the only real clue I can remember. That is all you needed to say. He is clearly meant to be an adult if Bruce mentions he should be in college. I would have been okay with 16-year old Robin is what I meant when I mentioned the age 16. That he is at least not an adult yet and could be adopted. Dick is going through possible superhero names and Bruce says "How about Dick Grayson, college student?" so I don't know. It can mean he's college age or approaching college age, so anywhere from late teens to 20s. I just find the dynamic less interesting with Robin so old. Fun fact, Marlon Wayans was supposed to be Robin in Batman Returns. He got paid and everything. He would have been about 19. Still older, but not as old as O'D.

And I just... haven't had time to ever see it.

Big nay. Kilmer is one of my favorite actors, but he should passed on this one. Carrey is playing himself, could almost substitute the Mask or the Cable Guy.
