Great song mszanadu, thanks for posting it. Love the old stuff by Daft Punk, Homework (1997) and Discovery (2001) were very important records for me as a teenager, and cuts like Voyager and Digital Love makes me all nostalgic in a good way whenever I hear them, which sadly is not that often any longer. However that might all change as hearing it again makes me want to go back and re-discover all those great electronic/dance gems of the late 90s and early 00s.

I haven't seen you on this forum for awhile here so very glad you are back now ( unless we have just not been crossing paths because of being on different sections of this forum perhaps but either way it's good to see you here again ) . The Daft Punk instrumental song " Voyager " is actually my all time favorite song of theirs and the album it's from Discovery (2001) is my # 1. favorite album of theirs as well . It's also my very first " Discovery of this band's music " too ( PUN intended ! ) . I have been hooked ever since . You're most welcome also . Thanks so much stefancrosscoe for your reply .

Welcome back stefancrosscoe ! I haven't seen you on this forum for awhile here so very glad you are back now ( unless we have just not been crossing paths because of being on different sections of this forum perhaps but either way it's good to see you here again ) . Thanks for the warm greetings mszanadu, I apreciate it and it is nice to see you here also. It is right that I have not been here that much of lately, well I have visited and read a little, posted here and there a few times but mostly during december I was pretty much "occupied" with birthdays, dinners, more dinners and several family get togethers. You know, I am a lousy cook, so when you have two parents who loves cooking it is hard to say no and for a period of 10-11 days with christmas food/dinners almost on a daily basis, I was completely overfed and that backed with little outdoor exercise and lots and lots of candy and other non healthy stuff (well it is christmas only once a year), I pretty much put on a bit of weight and have been trying now for the past 8-10 days to try and get back in shape. Pretty much, I had a luxery problem thing going and I always feel lousy when saying no to a christmas dinner at one of my parents, because they spend so much time getting things ready and I hate to disappoint them or let down their feelings. The Daft Punk instrumental song " Voyager " is actually my all time favorite song of theirs and the album it's from Discovery (2001) is my # 1. favorite album of theirs as well . I am glad you enjoy Discovery as I remember it was probably even better than Homework, or so I remember it. While I am not very updated on their newer material, it is not hard to catch upon their sound whenever something new is out on radio. Just been browsing through Youtube and found again some of my old favorite cuts from their 2001 release, have probably not heard them for years but it all comes back to me in a great nostalgic way, as often great music does: Face To Face, Something About Us and of course Digital Love. Thanks for your kind reply, hope to be seeing you aroun either on the music forum or in the Horror section, so take care for now and be sure to have great day onwards.

I noticed (how could I not) that swedish dance artist E-Type was posted earlier in this thread, while I was never a huge fan of him I did however enjoy several of his songs during the 90s and early 00s. Very catchy stuff and liked the fact that he often would put references to 80s horror films such as Poltergeist (1982) and the Friday the 13th films in many of his music videos.
Angels Crying (1998)
Here I Go Again (1998)

You're most welcome stefancrosscoe . Also another excellent set of songs on that Daft Punk album Discovery was - Aerodynamic , Superheroes , & High Life which are wonderful favorites of mine too . As for their newer songs from other various albums which I don't own but listen to a lot on YouTube and also are real big favorites of mine are some of these - Give Life Back to Music , Technologic , & Robot Rock this band is really world class perfection indeed . We will definitely see each other on the forum sections you mentioned above here . I even recently added a few more classic horror films on your thread entitled - " The last horror, thriller or suspense film you watched " . Chat with you again soon stefancrosscoe !

I will have to try an pick up on the releases they did after Discovery as I did kind of "lost" touch with them for a long while, not because I was not enjoying their music anylonger but I had a period where prog-rock, new-wave and synth-pop began to dominate my music influence for sometime and I guess those genres still are there with me today, but dance/electronica, specially during the late 90s and early 00s, I'll always try to find a place to whenever I have the chance. I am gonna try to post/write more in the horror, thriller section as I had a few weeks with very little horror related movies to be seen, during the christmas time and I now feel the hunger for that kind of entertainment is coming back with full force. Take care and be sure to have a great weekend.
