Other bands that came out since them... like the grunge bands for example.
They don't have many albums that don't suck. Between 2 and 4 albums by those bands are good. Alice in chains only have one good album and it's jar of flies. For example.
Some good bands came out after r.e.m., but their album output isn't as consistent as them.

I don't know when REM first got started, but it has now been 40 years since the Star Search appearance that introduced the world to who I think is the best band there is: Sawyer Brown. From the left to right is Duncan Cameron who was the band's lead guitar player in the 90s, Shayne Hill who is the current lead guitar player, Mark Miller who is the lead singer, Gregg "Hobie" Hubbard who is the band's piano player, Joe "Curly" Smith who is the band's drummer, and on the end is Bobby Randall who is the band's first lead guitar player. The only member not included in that recent photograph is the band's bass player Jim Scholten who retired from the act in 2021 due to health issues. |
