1. Are you a person that thinks that lennon had a good solo career and mccartney didn't?
If someone said that they have the opposite opinion. Would you say that person is wrong?
2. Are you a person that thinks that mccartney had a good solo career and lennon didn't?
If someone said that they have the opposite stance. Would you say that person is wrong?
3. Do you think they are both terrible?
If someone said they think both are good, would you say that person is wrong?
Let me know, which one out of those 3 you fall into.
Those are the only catagories anyone can fall into. Because no one can like both equally. Because one thing I do know:
No matter what, there's no way that both are exactly equal. Each one can be better in different ways. But at the end of the day one is generally better than the other one.

I'd really like to know your backstory. Autism spectrum? Childhood trauma? Meds?

Personally, I think both chaps had cracking solo careers in music and stuff.
Other folk's opinions and tastes matter less than less than zero to me....there is no right or wrong as all art is subjective.

I will offer that given the amount of time Lennon's solo career spanned, in that short time, it was successful.

Given how the Beatles wrote pretty much separately for many years before the split, you really do wonder why the solo careers are so spotty at best and bloody awful in the main. (I know some will pick out Band On The Run and All Things Must Pass) Same for the Stones, kinks and Who also.

No input from George Martin and the other Beatles, John overinvolving Yoko, Paul being too prolific, George pretty much shot his wad.

I think McCartney admitted that after Epstein's death there was no one left to tell them what to do and control all the ego stuff that invariably destroys bands. Most bands suffer from retarded growth and never become fully functioning adults.
