How many licks to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop? How many bad streeaming shows before people stop paying for DisneyPlus?

D+ has been stellar in comparison Eh. There’s a lot of garbage on Netflix, but no D+ original has come close to Netflix’s greats (far and few as they may be).

Netflix is home to a lot of poor content, but their quality programming outweighs the good over on Disney+ in comparison. The only thing Disney+ has over Netflix, I suppose, is its catalog of old and familiar content - if you are just interested in watching movies or shows made by Disney, anyway.

No thoughts on this board about Echo, which I guess says more about the state of the MCU in general. I thought it was a decent show with an anticlimactic finale. Really looking forward to Daredevil: Born Again.

Really looking forward to Daredevil: Born Again. I thought it was generally fine, not bottom tier but not top tier television either, the changes to the source material were not necessary and they were better off with the original ending instead of what they presented.

I'm not familiar with the comics version of this character. I thought it was kind of dumb that she was spreading her powers around in the final fight. Isn't she supposed to be the avatar of her tribe or whatever? I would've rather seen the titular character take care of business instead of watching an old lady throwing people around. Like you said, there are better MCU shows, and much worse; but that final fight is the only place where I really felt they dropped the ball completely.

Like you said, there are better MCU shows, and much worse; but that final fight is the only place where I really felt they dropped the ball completely. In the comic books, there is nothing particularly supernatural with Echo's power-set. She has photographic reflexes and can perform any physical movement or action performed by someone else if she observes them doing it more than once - this includes anything from martial arts, machine operation, and musical instrument playing. This allows her to use another character's signature move to best them in hand-to-hand combat, anticipate their next move, and even allows her to have a normal conversation without having to rely on sign language. She is also not part of the Choctaw Nation in the comic books, her roots are tied with the Blackfeet Nation instead. Her father was terminated when she was a child, and Wilson Fisk had done the task himself. She later paints her father's handprint onto her face. She was also raised more privileged growing up under Fisk, but we don't see too much of her as a child. As for the original ending, and what was cut, link

As for the original ending, and what was cut, linkSo in the comics she's basically Taskmaster, but since they already gender switched Taskmaster in the MCU (don't get me going on that), they had to get a little weird for the show. I disagree with the article, I don't think it ends her story at all. If anything it sets up a showdown with Daredevil, because you know he'll be gunning for Fisk on his show, and she probably thinks Fisk is on the up and up now.

Pretty much, she also has ties to Wolverine, and has been romantically linked to Daredevil and Hawkeye, even took on the mantle of Ronin for a time.

I didn't watch. I really didn't care for the character in Hawkeye.
