I'm vaguely interested in seeing the middle books adapted since the movies cut out a lot. Otherwise pretty pointless stuff.

Seems redundant with the movies being so recent. Adapting the exact same story again already? Smells like a cash grab.

Plus with how many things go wrong with shows these days, what's the chance they will even be able to complete the full 7+ seasons before something goes wrong (like an important cast member getting cancelled, or the writers getting bored and rushing the through the later books like Game of Thrones?). I can't see it going well.
It really should have been about the Marauders + young Voldemort though instead. Then in 10 yrs when it's finished, if it's a success, maybe THEN decide to remake Harry Potter with the same crew.
